Not all sugars are created equal but....

Oh, we're done with all that vegetable-steaming and mess, our children are cutlery-wielding, spaghetti-chomping angels... at least some of the time.

Not all sugars are created equal but....

I was a bit surprised to learn that cow and gate growing up milk (ready made) has 6g of sugar per 100ml. Strawberry Crusha no added sugar has 4g per 100ml!

I'm thinking the formula is better as it has more vitamins etc but still....

Is the sugar in the milk not in the form of lactose though and the sugar in the Strawberry Crusha will be fructose?

Yes, that's just the naturally occurring sugar in milk. There's 5g per 100 in plain milk, so the extra gram might be added sugar (or it could be something else fairly innocuous).

And I think breastmilk is naturally sweeter than cows milk, so guess if they're trying to mimic the content of bm it would have more sugars?
