is there such a thing as too much cinnamon?

Oh, we're done with all that vegetable-steaming and mess, our children are cutlery-wielding, spaghetti-chomping angels... at least some of the time.

Ooh, I want I want I want!

Problem with running water here is that it tends to come out of the tap boiling hot - only the first few seconds are cold, hence putting it in a cup, which doesn't seem to work anyway. Hmmm.

I put cinnamon in my spaghetti bolognaise. Don't tell DH though, he hates cinnamon.

Wahh - I gave Miss I cinnamon sprinkled on her weeties yesterday. She loved it, only ate a few extra teaspoons but was so excited about her normally boring cereal. However she did go red and blotchy around her mouth - apparently not uncommon - she's only 9 1/2 months, but they don't stay intolerant forever. Do you think I should keep offering it to her or just wait a while? :?

DD2 used to go red and blotchy around her mouth when she was under 1 too!! I've never heard of it from anyone else! I stopped giving it to her till she was about 18 months, and haven't noticed it yet but I only give her a little bit on her rice cake sometimes.
