I'm so pleased to read this thread!!

Isabelle is 22months now and for a while I've been cutting stuff up for her otherwise it gets spat out again for being a too big mouthfull... I was wondering if I was 'babying' her too much with regards her food if you know what I mean...

She will not be fed now except on very special and rare occasions (which make yogurt a bugger!!) and insists on using a fork or spoon (prefers fork)...
She will sometimes let me load the fork if she's having trouble but that too isn't a common occurrence... :D

As for going off foods, Isabelle has phases of foods really, e.g. banananas - she had a whole banana obsession going for a bit and now she's unbothered... Same goes with all foods really, if she has the same thing a lot (her choice!!) she gets bored of it so for breakfast we're on cherios at the moment  Waaaaaaaaaay too high in sugar for my liking but never mind... I think she's getting bored of those too so will have to go on a hunt for an alternative... (anything but shreddies... Oh the nappies!!) :?
