I always found it easier to have an interval between milk and food (or food and milk). Apart from anything else, it meant scaling back her milk feeds over time was easy because she wasn't expecting them as part of the continuing mealtime routine.

Well, we already have a gap between milk & solids. Generally an hour, but sometimes 2hrs. Even after that, he's still not interested in food at the moment.

Today, for instance, he had 9oz at 6am, 1/2oz at 10, 7oz at 2 & 7oz at 6. As for solids, well, he had very, very little...which is unusual for him. And his nappies are already starting to revert back to beginning solids state. <ewww>

But if this is a picky thing, and not a needing to swap things round thing, how do most people handle it? I really don't want to get into the habit of simply offering loads of different things until we find something he'll eat. I am trying to offer meals I know he generally likes, but even yoghurt was refused at dinner! <yes, shock horror!>
