Not Sure It's Working for My 1 Year Old

Hi all,

My daughter will be 1 next week and I'm not sure if BLW is working / how to get her to progress to more food... She drinks 4 bottles a day; the first two are about an hour before a meal, the third about 2 and the last about 1 hour after she falls asleep. We did reduce a bottle when she started eating more / drinking less but that was about 2 months ago and I haven't seen her make much progress eating more since then... I would expect her to eat more at night when the gap between bottle and dinner is greatest but she doesn't. Most of her food ends up on the floor and this is so frustrating.

Am I doing something wrong? I don't want to cut out a bottle since she wants to drink but lately I feel like spoon feeding her. I told my husband that with spoon feeding my older daughter, I could ensure he eats balanced food of frut, veggies and protein. Then again, my eldest is a lazy eater (meaning she'd prefer us to keep feeding her... she's 2.5, btw) so I don't know what is best.

Does anyone have any thoughts / suggestions? Thank you!
