Oh my God, look! Your baby is eating broccoli!
Feel free to boast about your child here.
And if it's not going so brilliantly yet? Come and have a right old whinge.

Hi all! How long to you keep left overs for feeding your baby? My lo is about 9 months old. Things like cooked veggies and meat....

TIA!!

That depends on what it is and how it's stored, I guess. If I'm ever in doubt, I tend to consult a website called still tasty. It's a comprehensive database for that sort of thing.

I pretty much just stick them in a covered dish in the fridge, then pull it out when we're ready to use it. I reheat or not depending on what the food is and how lazy I am feeling. I usually try to use things within 3 days or so, but don't start worrying about them being had until about a week after they are made, unless they seem "off" somehow.

What would you do if you were saving some leftovers for yourself?

I was (and still am) always more careful with leftovers for LO than for me and DH. I tend to stick to the 'rules' for her but not so much for us. Probably only leave things a day or two for her at that age.

When in doubt, I eat it myself! And when further in doubt, I feed it to my husband. >:}
Saurus (April 2012) wants to open all the cupboards to see the pipes.
Zilla (December 2013) is unstoppable. And really likes pizza.
Turtle (November 2015) isn't cute yet, but he's working on it.
And Mia and Oreo are my emotional support cats.
