food in mouth after the meal?

Postby dijam » 24 Nov 2015, 14:04

Hello! I am new to the BLW, my son is 8 month old now.
I gave some vege to him, but I always found some vege(say, carrot..) in his mouth after the meal. Is it Ok ? or I should make the food a bit softer for him?
Where he finished the food , sometime he would go to sleep very soon. I think there is must be many food in his mouth :S

another question:
When is in winter, will you still give the fingerfood to you baby? how should i keep tham warm? :D ( I am a Chinese, we usually have the "hot" meal in winter .)

Thank you in advance!!

You can give babies warm food, obviously leave it to cool a bit before serving but mine cope with things pretty warm.

Try giving a drink of water after the meal if you're worried about bits of food being let in their mouth. It should help to wh the it's down. Or try putting them on their tummy for tummy time, not easy if your lo doesn't like being on their tummy and flips of though lol
