Hello Im new to blogging - and forums and all that - what is a pm and how do I do it?

Under people's names on the right hand side of the post you will see a little square with PM in it. It stands for personal message, if you click on it you can send a message to that person and they will see there is a message and can read it. Under the BLW banner you will see it says User Control Panel (X new messages) so you know if someone has messaged you. It's so you don't have to do a public post.
