I have an app for packing, called Packing, which does the iPhone version of your laminated lists. I would recommend it. Apparently it's made by QuinnScape.

My goal is to be able to housekeep on autopilot so I can save my brainspace for things I care about thinking about. Inspired by a quote I read from President Obama, where he said he limits his suit choices so he can devote his mental energy to important decisions.

Well we are hear and so far I've decided I haven't brought enough of the kids plates, bowls and cutlery but I think that's about it so far. I did think about bringing my handheld Dyson to clear up under the table every night but thought dh might laugh at me, also I don't think it would have fitted in the car lol.

Get down her quite well by travelling overnight. Set of PF at 3am and SM went back to sleep reasonably quickly but CM took 2 hours so was well over tired by last night. I've now decided she's too big for the travel cot but she's never been in a normal bed before and I think/ desperately hope that the over tiredness and completely new bed was what led to the crap sleep and cosleeping last night. Trying again to get both girls to sleep in the same room in single beds tonight so wish me luck, don't want to spend the whole week sleeping in a different room to dh.

Good luck kc! My two take longer to drop off when they're sharing, and they wake earlier (or rather they both get up as soon as the first one wakes), but during the night they usually do pretty well. I think they find it reassuring to have company when they're in a new place. Here's hoping yours are the same.
