Removing grease stains

So, I'm a gigantic klutz.

Anyone know the best way to get a huge grease stain out of a polyester dress? :?

Cornflour. Sprinkle it on dry and work it in with a toothbrush. Repeat a couple of times

Do you have Vanish over there? I find soaking in Vanish powder works best. Dish soap is also great for grease stains.

Dawn dish soap is the best, just the regular blue kind. That's what they use on birds after oil spills, no joke. Or other dish soap. I just dampen the stain, slather on the dish soap until the stain is saturated, let it sit awhile, then throw it in the wash with all the other laundry.
I love my kiddos! Two April girls (2011 and 2013) and a May boy (2016). I guess we have spring babies in this family.

Thanks everyone.

Really baby wipes mp? Never would have thought to try that - what makes it work when just washing it doesn't?

No idea if we have Vanish or not Lily. I'll try some of the other suggestions then look for that if it's still stained.

Corn flour and dawn dish soap both sound easy and are things I have on hand, so I will give one of those a try.
