I haven't been able to log in for about a month, I kept getting an error message, but it works again now. Hello everyone! It's good to be back.

Full refund issues! Many large sighs of relief going on here.

That's great StJ!! Phew!

My status...

I've booked 2 nights camping. I'm now worrying about M. Frustrated, screamy M. The other campers will hate us when we rock up! Oh and I momentarily forgot this is Scotland. Why on earth did I book ahead?? It could be pishing rain the whole time!

It'll all be fine, won't it?

It will. I was worried taking our girls camping a few weeks ago with the night wakings from both girls, especially having been told how noisy we are by our neighbours, but it was fine. SM slept next to her Daddy and woke a couple of times but resettled quite quickly with having him there and CM shared a sleeping bag with me and slept pretty well apart from the third night it both were pretty quiet all things considering. The only downside was the not going to sleep til nearly 11pm because it was still light.

So glad you're getting a refund, SJ.

I cleared all history, cache, etc on my mobile and the logging in issues seem to have gone. Yay.

We've been invited to go camping in a couple of weeks as a surprise to OH's bro, just for a night. But we only have a 2-person dome tent, so there's just no way we would all fit in it. And we haven't used it for about six years, so I have no idea what state it's in. And also, we're seeing them this weekend anyway. It seems like a *lot* of hassle for one night, especially as we will have seen them just the weekend before. Not quite sure how to say no.

In other news, we went to a fantastic wedding on Sat. One of my housemates from university married his partner of ten years and it was such a great do. London rooftop reception in the City, fireworks at 11pm, fab food, great disco and free bar. So lovely to see them have such a great day.

We have planning permission for our barn conversion! No idea how long it will take until we're actually on site, have to build a garage to live in first (!) but such a relief to know the end is in sight of living in a very child unfriendly house, with grumpy fil!

Qbm, it will be fine, or it will be very memorable and bonding and you can have a collective nostalgic moan about it for years to come. It's only 2 nights, even if it's really bad you will get through it! I'm not helping am I.

LL, that does sound like a lot of hassle. Can you borrow a tent, or is not having a suitable one a good excuse not to go?

Congrats yp, will we see you on grand designs soon? ;)

Thank you for the reassurance. I do actually feel less apprehensive about it!

Yay, yp! Exciting times ahead!

LL, I think you answered your own question: "We only have a two-person dome tent and there's no way we'll all fit in, going to have to pass this time."

I just know they won't take any reason at face value and will offer workarounds to make it happen. I'm hoping OH might take C. She can share with her cousins and he can take his fishing tent. Then I get my first ever night at home on my own!

God no, I love grand designs but wouldn't want that added stress! And I expect Kevin will have retired by the time we're done!

Camping will be fine Qbm! At least they're past the crawling in the mud stage. And LL, camping will be BRILLIANT if you get to stay at home!
