We went to Pride at the weekend. On Monday the puppy told his nursery teacher about it. He described it thus:

"I can't remember what it's called but mummy bought us rainbow flags and we celebrated that boys can love boys and girls can love girls".

The girls were playing "babies" with a bunch of teddies tonight. One of them is a flat pillow-teddy, and Kleintje described it thusly:
"This baby is dead. It got rolled over by a car. I was sad, but now we can use it as a trampoline!"

CMs response to the gardeners digging up our garden was "they broke it" wail of despair lol.

Kc, that was basically L's reaction when the roofers came to replace part of our roof.

Me: First they're going to tear off all the old roof and throw it down on the ground.
L: That sounds bad!

And I do the same thing with thinking I need to relay something to the forum, but promptly forget it well before I'm next online.

We stay with her whilst she falls asleep and this was all as a result of me saying I was going to lay facing the other way until she showed me she was ready to lay quietly and settle down.

Me: "Do you need your diaper changed?"
A: (Very decidedly, as is offended) "Oh, no." She then turned around and pointedly walked out of the room.

Haha treeb, squish is similar - I ask him if he's done a poo and he says 'no, a grunt'. It's almost always a poo.

Me and Dh were talking about cutting some fabric, Dh was saying how many feet he needed or something. DD starts to look upset and says: "I don't want Daddy to cut my feet"!!

L is constantly harassing A, trying to knock her down, chasing her around, etc. ( Needs a whole thread of its own.) Earlier he was chasing her as she fled towards me, and dh grabbed him from behind. L shouted at him: "Daddy, stop that! You're getting in the way of my trouble!"

Talking to muncher today about how he is allowed to have a peanut butter sandwich for lunch because it's not a kinder day and we only have to worry about that on kinder days. He tells me that his mate brought a peanut butter sandwich in one time 'but it was ok because we don't have any nut cases'.
