Fantastic children. Im super proud of SM atm. She suddenly seems quite mature and I dependet for her age. She helps out without being asked, follows instructions and can be sensible and brave about new things like having her hair cut this afternoon. She has had it cut once before but nearly two years ago lol.

Obviously she's not always this super helpful, a lot of the time she's a threenager. But when she is I just feel so blessed.

You sound like me at dance class, I swear the other mums must think I'm nuts, not the best impression when you're trying to integrate into a new community! I've just about got it under control after 7 weeks, but it's the 'recital' next week....

I just spend gymnastics class laughing watching Moo not listening to instructions, lying on his mat because he finds warm ups boring, or knocking stuff over and looking round to see if anyone noticed!

Does anyone remember the Sweet Valley High books? Because I just dreamed I slept with Winston Egbert.

I don't know why.

Me, me, me. I loved them, although possibly not as much as you! I'd never have remembered that name.

We're currently talking Thundercats in this house. And I'm wondering when I can get the kids in to Dungeons and Dragons (not the shit game, the awesome cartoon with the unicorn).

Thanks, everyone. I had my first corporate meeting today. They call them All-Hands meetings, although there wasn't a nautical emergency anywhere in sight. On the plus side, it was followed by free pizza from one of the best pizzerias in Dublin.

I remember Sweet Valley High, emzit. And I loved them! I think I may have read all the books. And believe it or not, I had a crush on Winston Egbert, the class clown. I found him quite endearing.

That fits, given that you climbed a guy called Ben Nevis at ten.

MP, I do think it's that I loved them that much, I was recently reading an article that popped up about the series that followed up on what happened when they grew up so the names were in my head!

And for anyone else that read them, this is a good giggle...

I have been gearing up to make elderflower cordial for about three years. This year, I finally went out a couple of weeks ago to buy lemons and citric acid. They didn't have any at the health food shop near us, but they have a workshop at the back where they make cordials, so very kindly gave me a bag of citric acid free of charge. It's taken me a couple of weeks to go out and actually collect the flowers, but we did that on Wednesday. Yesterday I forked off all the flowers, peeled the lemons, poured on the syrup and left to sit for 24 hours. Now, I have the bottles sterilised, the muslin to strain them sterilised, and I CANNOT find the citric acid anywhere. I have been looking for about an hour and a half. I can only think it must have fallen out of the buggy on the way home. I can't think of anywhere else to look. ARGH!

Oh no bm! :( we made elderflower champagne years ago and made the mistake of putting it in screw top bottles...which all exploded! Hope you find it or a replacement in time!
