Amuse me!

Whatever you like, really, knock yourself out... I'm not the boss of you.

For breakfasts I pretty much just love all breakfast foods, sweet and savory. My standard daily breakfast is some variation of lightly sweetened oatmeal, but... eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, French toast, muffins, pastries, bagels, cold leftover pizza... Yum! I'm pretty sure I could be entirely happy if I only ate "breakfast foods" for the meals a day for the rest of my life!

I'm with Treeb on loving all the breakfasts.

And I really want emzit's middle name to be elvis.

Me too. In fact, I refuse to even consider the other two options. :D

This is what I found myself reading at about five this morning after A woke to nurse and then decide she would only sleep in my arms on the couch, and woke up again any time I tried to put her back to bed or bring her into my own bed.

Treeb, 'breakfast' is Izbiz's standard answer to the question 'what's your favourite food?'

My current phone obsession is Blendoku. It's a colour-blending game, easy to do one-handed and completely absorbing. It occupies all B's feeds when I'm not on here or reading the newspaper.

The only acceptable savoury breakfast is vegemite toast, unless at a cafe, in which case eggs and salmon are acceptable. Mixing of maple and bacon is all a bit strange.

Sadly, my middle name is not Elvis. It's one of the two that most good Australian girls of my era were given. Bonus points for guessing what it is! JW must be in with a good shot of getting it right.

Personally, I like a mixed breakfast best-- pancakes or waffles, fresh fruit, bacon, and eggs.

^ Yes to this (but with sausage instead of bacon) - my favourite breakfast place always gives loads of fresh fruit with their breakfasts. Of course, every now and then you can't beat a good fry-up (in my opinion)!

I was also hoping for a middle name of Elvis!! My guess would be Elizabeth, it's seems to be pretty popular as a middle name in my generation.

Sadly (for the dog?) we did not attach training wheels to the bike - Dh was most put out that someone would consider asking such a thing!!

We had an Elvis wedding in Vegas and then told everyone the puppy was going to be called Elvis hyphen Dean (hyphen had to be pronounced). No one was sure if we were joking given our wedding.

I'm going with an illegal jump across boarder. (and then I'm going to think of a little quiz about me!)

Well to be fair, I was a bit sneaky. I have illegally jumped a border but it was Namibia, not Zimbabwe. I was officially in Namibia, rafting on the river that is the border and we swam across to the SA side. But swam back to carry on the trip. I got married when I was living in the UK and I did get married in a 13th century monastery in Kent.

Middle name is not Elizabeth! I won't tell you what it is yet, I want to see if JW can guess it.

Jumping back a few comments - ooh Turkish breakfasts, I'd forgotten about them! Pretty good too. No amusing anecdotes though, sorry.

I read that all in one sitting once and it was... intense. Sometimes funny, sometimes really depressing.
I shouldn't spend four hours reading old forum posts though, should I?

emzit, I'm going to guess Marie. Every other person I knew growing up had Marie for a middle name. Granted, it was a different country...

Jane or Rebecca , if Australia is anything like the UK then it has to be one of these two.
