Party to celebrate our new mods!

Party to celebrate our new mods!

Postby junglewonderland » 23 Apr 2016, 05:15

Someone on the mods thread suggested a forum celebration. Here here! (Or is it hear hear? Or hear here?)

I've started it here because puddle ducks parties never work for me because of the time difference. Feel free to move over if the celebrations continue....

I've just put up the streamers and the helium balloons are blown up. Here I go handing around party blowers and party poppers ready to make some noise when the new mods arrive.

Woop woop, here's some cake. I have both vanilla sponge with a jam and buttercream filling or chocolate and raspberry with dark chocolate ganache.

It's very early for a party, but what the hell. As long as you guys don't mind me sitting in the corner with a strong coffee until 12, I'm here.
Fwiw, jw, it's okay to come to one of puddleduck's parties at any time of day or night.

Mmm, cake and coffee, sounds good.

I have joined the puddle ducks parties but the action is usually over by the time I'm up!

Same for me JW! We can always just party ourselves and let the Brits kick on once it's our bedtime. Although I'm still three hours ahead of you!

In my morning grumpiness, I forgot to say thank you for throwing us a party. The sentiment is much appreciated. :)

Dropping in to raise a Saturday morning glass. May the forum go from strength to strength!

It's always gin o'clock somewhere, right? Hurrah to bit of forum rejuvenation. Hopefully none of us will b*gger off for a while now (looking at you, rascalpup). Have a good weekend, everyone x

It's amazing the difference the lack of spam makes, isn't it?

Well I'm a bit late, but I'm here with my coffee now. Any cake left?

Surely at nearly 4 o'clock it's acceptable to start on the alcoholic drinks....? No?

I'll join you in a glass of wine. And I'll donate some left over balloons and bubbles from Sproglets 3rd birthday party to add to the fun.

I'd love a slice of that chocolate and raspberry cake that KC was offering! For those who are at an appropriate drinking time (4pm for sure!), I have a bottle of (cheap) sparkling strawberry wine in the fridge (bit of an impulse buy at the liquor store, most probably will taste crap) to offer?

Well if it's gin o'clock and I get to be called rascalpup then I'll stay around! Wish we could still have name changes.

Happy spam free days- this is officially a new era, pre-spam and post-spam.
In my heart I am Rascalpup, a name awarded during battle with one persistent spammer. I like to think ironside but with sarcasm rather than an axe.

Slightly horrified by my huge number of posts.

Rocking up late with a mug of tea and freshly made bread, toasted and smothered in Galaxy chocolate spread!

Lovely party for the spam free forum! Onwards and upwards!!! xxx
