My child is weird because...

He just insisted that his head had to not leave the floor as he came up the stairs for bath time. He giggled the whole way up so at least I know he thought it was funny but still...

I can see this one running and running :D
My child is weird because she went to messy play and refused to get her hands dirty. Show her a muddy puddle on the other hand and she's coated within seconds.

My child is weird because he licked his baby brother's head all the way around the super market. This means my other child is weird because he didn't object at all.

Oh, this reminds me : because he kept licking rocks in the zoo. Big rocks in places where monkeys are free to roam. Not good or safe.

Weasley, does the brother taste good? Maybe you're missing something here?

she is utterly in love with a large lump of blu tac. we gave her a pack for her birthday (amongst other things!!!) and it's her favourite thing in the world. she takes it everywhere, she is cuddling it in bed now. weirdo.

He followed my SIL around on the weekend as she got ready to go out insisting "No pants!" Although given she was wearing leggings as pants, maybe he wasn't asking her to take them off but pointing out she wasn't wearing any! :mona

No but seriously. I have no idea why or where he got the idea that she should remove her pants but he didn't stop telling her to until she left the house.

This totally reminds me of my friend's comic about his two kids:

Wow, I just looked at it and realized it's from way back when he was just starting out! His style has gotten much cleaner since then, and he's just published his first book!
I love my kiddos! Two April girls (2011 and 2013) and a May boy (2016). I guess we have spring babies in this family.

....because he brings a different pair of shoes to us every 15 minutes and asks us to change his shoes (every day, all day, this has been going for weeks). And we are weird because we indulge the shoe fetish by doing as he asks.

....because he calls himself "wild sing (thing)"

Gosh jw, what a lavishly provided-for child, to own multiple pairs of shoes! It's as much as I can do to buy him a new pair every time his feet grow!

My child is weird because his first request on waking at 6am today was for gnocchi. Not milk, or Daddy, or breakfast, but gnocchi.

My child is continuing to ignore her lovely winter boots and will only wear her probably too small sandals or crocs. It's not worth the arguments and I just ignore looks in playgrounds for my child's inappropriate footwear. She won't even wear wellies anymore!

...until now she has shown no inclination to get attached to any soft toy...that was until she saw this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Really-Good-Roc ... B000QEWE1I which I bought DH years ago. He'd been gathering dust on DH's bedside table until she spotted him about a week ago and now they go everywhere together. She currently asleep clutching him to her chest. Not as weird as BlueTac though....
