Counting the minutes til M goes to bed so I can eat icecream and biscuits and feel sorry for myself. I've had a headache for a week and it just won't bloody go away.

SN- what they said. None of this was your fault, and you've taken a really bad situation and throughout it done what is best for your son, even when it's not been what is best for you, and you did amazingly getting him up to birthweight so fast, and how well he did and continues to do should make you so proud- you are one amazing mamma and I only hope that with time you'll stop blaming the bad, that you had no control over, on yourself, and start accepting how amazingly you have done at the good, which was all down to you.
Fullhouse- that is insanity. I'd be considering faking my own death at this point!
Skip- I hope he's in bed and you have ice-cream. I hate headaches, especially week long ones- though mine are usually induced by lack of sodium and cured with a bag of crisps!

Kyl - wants to play FB updates! - is possibly dying from exhaustion... somehow 8 hours of (broken) sleep is not enough to drive an hour, work 8 hours, and mommy the rest of the time on every day. Even less so when it is more like 6hours broken sleep... I thought the first weeks of mommying were hard...

Is that to get your kitchen registered Bananacustard? My sister had hers done last year and was really worried, but in actual fact the lady who came was lovely, very relaxed, said it all looked wonderful, gave her a few tips, told her not to bother using antibac washing up liquid (marketing ploy), had a cup of tea and a nice chat.

Phew. Done, she has no concerns, hooray. No cup of tea (I offered twice) and she was a bit young and I think new, so quite formal, but very pleasant.

She just phoned to say that they will be giving me 5 stars which is the most they give out. Hooray!

Am really annoyed actually as I had a request for a cake come in via my blog last night. I think it was someone I don't know/not a friend of a friend. But it is needed while we are away... booo.

But I have a large ruby wedding cake order for April and a Wedding cake order for May, so that'll be enough to be going on with.

Kylindryl and Skip, hope today is going better for you both.

ETA: Eeeeeeeeeek! I just tried cutting M's hair and it is going really badly. I used exactly the same technique a while ago and gave him quite a nice trim so I don't know what's gone wrong, but I'm close to just taking him round to the barbers and confessing my sins... Wah.

Oh and I still have a headache. Drinking plenty of water, actually got a decent chunk of sleep last night too. My neck/back is really tense and I'm still waiting to get this stupid gimpy mouth guard from the dentist to stop me clenching my jaw in my sleep. But I don't get why I'll get such a stabby-eye headache randomly half way through the day if sleep/tension is the cause. I don't want to keep taking paracetamol (not that it does much anyway).

Kate is remembering why I don't take Roo to singing groups more often. It is held at our local city farm, so after being told off on multiple counts, we cut our losses and went to see the animals instead

Told off? At toddler singing? Ridiculous. Have you tried the library? I find they are always. Dry relaxed sessions wherever we go.
