A sort of BLW plug on Radio 2!

Jonathon Ross' sidekick (Andy Davies) has weaned his child by skipping the purees, and was talking about it on the show today (it was about 12:15 as we were having lunch). Jonathon asked him how it was possible for his baby to chew, and he said it was no problem, just gummed away.
So, no mention of Saint Gill, or the blog, or even the term.... but hey, worth a mention here!

Unfortunately despite telling my MIL many times about the ethos / philosophy behind BLW she then turned round last week while Bruno was tucking into some couliflower and said so are purees the next stage?! I give up! :scream

As a matter of interest Aitch, what is the google rating for the blog? Do you know how many times it has been accessed or how many people have visited? It must run into 1000s!

That wasn't the worst. She fed him and no one feeds him milk like mum, I'm sure you'll all agree with that. He's just used to the way I hold him 'cos 4/5 times its me feeding him. He always gets frustrated or distracted part way through and so she gives up and plays with him. What he actually wants is a breather before having some more and maybe a burp.

So I ask for him back to finish off the bottle (he wanted it but of course she doesn't understand his language as we see them less than once a month). She suggested I give him baby rice if I wanted him to have more milk :scream

I've just emailed the show and said well done, BLW is great and we would love to see them on here!

Do you ever wonder how some people got to be adults when you meet their parents?
