Campsite recommendations for Cornwall/Devon

We have left it a bit late again but we are hoping that someone knows of a little gem of a campsite that won't be fully booked/noisy/full of teenage drinkers... Ideally within easy walk of a beach but we can be flexible. Anyone know of somewhere...?

I know it's Dorset not Devon/Cornwall but we stayed here recently and it was really lovely. We were in an overflow field (we went down May bank hol, a bit foolhardy in retrospect!) which was great, plenty of space, sheep about 3 foot away and loads of other farm animals to see, plus peacocks wandering about, plus it's right by corfe castle. It was really cool.

Thanks redrum, it looks great but we went to Dorset last year, making a note though for future trips...

Also Dorset, but Hook Farm (Lyme Regis) is perfect. It is reasonably small, the facilities are fab, the staff are friendly, and they have rules about noise which they actually enforce!

We also love Ayr in St Ives. We stayed in the apartment rather than camped, but again it was just a lovely site (and I may have recommended it here several times over the years  ).

we've been to Ayr in St Ives too, pre children. Definitely a good site in a fab location. I would imagine the showers have been improved since we were there, I seem to recall having to pay for them and there being a lot of brown tiles!

river Dart Country Park on Dartmoor is great, although it does book up early. Big, but with the most amazing playgrounds, open space, facilities. Properly set up for families staying a week or more.
