We are going camping for the first time with dd in 2 weeks. Per dd we used to camp fairly often but I can't seem to remember how cold it will be at night. She will be in double sleeping bag with me but will she still need fleecy type pjs or more layers etc. she is just turned 2. What do your lo s wear at night?

The last couple of times we've camped Dilly and Elsie have shared my double sleeping bag with me. The first time they wore two pairs of pyjamas (night time temps were around 2 degrees C), the second time just one pair. DH complained that his sleeping bag was cold when he got into it, mine was lovely and warm :D

I was also wondering this. The boys have fleecy sleep suits and we'll probably bring their dressing gowns. I will check the weather forecast before we go. Does anyone have special footwear for bedtime? I was wondering whether to let them wear their slippers and just wash them when we get home.

In may mine wore joggers tucked into socks, a normal jarmie top and fleece onesie. They had their own bags though but also had a fleecey blanket over the top.
Do you mean slippers in bed Nixxie? Socks were enough to keep mine toasty. For night time toilet dashes they had crocs/wellies to slip on.

Ah I was thinking for running around after pjs on and before they get dressed. Wellies will be fine though!

Crocs are a must for our trips! So easy to slip on and off at the tent door.

Another vote for Crocs here too.
