Oh look, it's broadly a place to talk about special occasions, party tips and to swap present ideas but let's be perfectly honest, this forum is here because I want to get excited about CHRIIIIIISTMAS from about June onwards.

We love lego here, but a lot of the reviews for the advent calendars say even lego fans prefer the playmobil calendars. We do our own daily advent activities but just fancy a new extra surprise for them this year. Any thoughts to help me decide please?

DS enjoyed the Lego city one last year.
If we do it again, my plan is to get a plate so he can set up the scene, iykwim?
Though, it mugt work out better value to buy kits and do your own?

I think we'll try Lego, thanks for the recommendation. It probably is cheaper to make our own, but not sure I could source all the fun little bits. Plus, it's nice to have a surprise each day that I haven't had to think of!
