Christening gift for grown up

My friend is getting her baby christened on Sunday and she is also being done at the same time. I don't think I will struggle to buy the baby something but I don't know about my friend. What would you buy a grown up on her christening day?

My best friend was christened aged 28. I got her a pretty wooden box inlaid with mother of pearl. I knew her mother was buying her a necklace and another friend was giving her earrings as a christening gift and it was perfect for keeping small pieces of jewellery and other keepsakes in.

*Edited to say I didn't want to buy a religious gift because I don't believe and I felt she was getting christened for reasons other than a true belief herself (she wanted to get married in church and needed to get christened to do so. This wasn't a momentous conversion of faith! I felt buying a religious token wasn't really appropriate).

Thanks for the suggestions! I bought her a really nice Minnie tea cup from the disney store and a pen. Useful kind of gifts!
