party games - rainbow themed?!?

Oh look, it's broadly a place to talk about special occasions, party tips and to swap present ideas but let's be perfectly honest, this forum is here because I want to get excited about CHRIIIIIISTMAS from about June onwards.

Obviously no good if you are not keen on sweets ......

How about a skittle treasure hunt - they will need to collect one of each of all the colours in a cup. And then eat them. I know it sounds rubbich, but i cannot tell you how much my children love this type of thing.

Pass the parcel with a layer of paper in each colour? And maybe little presents in the appropriate colours between the layers?

You could hunt rainbow coloured building blocks instead and give them a prize once they've got them all.

Pin the pot of gold on the rainbow?

Put colours up around the room and call out a colour for them all to run to.

Can't think of any more right now!

I had thought of pass the parcel too, going through the colours of the rainbow, maybe ending in rainbow paper? X posted

Can you hire a rainbow parachute? Loads of parachute games, bumping a toy up in the air, sitting with everyone's toes underneath with a "shark" nibbling at them... Etc...

Twister? A big rainbow craft? If you told the parents in advance, you could space permitting, allow massive painting project or tie dying?
