Oh look, it's broadly a place to talk about special occasions, party tips and to swap present ideas but let's be perfectly honest, this forum is here because I want to get excited about CHRIIIIIISTMAS from about June onwards.

So for anyone else with a sewing machine needing to make an Easter bonnet the night before, I thought I'd post this:
http://www.purlbee.com/bunny-hat-and-paw-mittens/I managed to knock one up tonight in under an hour. Due to the restrictions imposed by the materials available, we decided MJ could be a "recycled rabbit" and the hat was made of old T-shirts instead of wool (who wants to wear wooly hats when it's 30C anyway?!) and he looks pretty darn cute in it.
Praise be to Pinterest!
