Kids NYE Party

Oh look, it's broadly a place to talk about special occasions, party tips and to swap present ideas but let's be perfectly honest, this forum is here because I want to get excited about CHRIIIIIISTMAS from about June onwards.

Kids NYE Party

Postby KatGoldLIN » 31 Dec 2011, 09:38

So, we've decided to throw a little NYE party for the kids tonight. I need ideas for things we can do. So far, we are going to get some sparklers, make party hats and let off poppers. Probably play some board games and make "bucks fizz" (oj and soda water)

Any other ideas?

How about looking through your photos/blog for 2011 and remembering all your favourite things/big events (and you've had a few this year!) - or turn it into a game and get them to tell you what was happening in each picture and if they remember when it was? Then maybe asking them what things they want to do in 2012, or what milestones are coming up.

Perhaps some sort of new years related story/song/film?

Light some candles and say a prayer/make a wish for the new year/give thanks for everything that happened in 2011?

Bake/decorate a cake/biscuits?

We're having friends round and are eating and drinking and assuming the kids will amuse themselves...

MOD Update: Thx for reporting the post from ghdrettetang. As there are no links to dubious websites etc I will give he/she the benefit of the doubt and merely chastise he/she for being about 3 mths too late to the party :D
