LO's best quote / saying of the day?

Oh look, it's broadly a place to talk about special occasions, party tips and to swap present ideas but let's be perfectly honest, this forum is here because I want to get excited about CHRIIIIIISTMAS from about June onwards.

Love! :-)

Pumpkin: 'I'm going to be a sofa worker when I'm big and sell people sofas.' (following a conversation about why I couldn't and wouldn't pick him up by his ears...)

LOL, 3KC!

M on Christmas day announced that she was going to write to FC to complain because she didn't get a *real* magic wand. And she was also going to tell FC to come back to take A's presents away because she had been a pest all day.
Mum to two gorgeous girls and one bouncing baby boy.

Yup. No other color is to be worn. Dressed head to toe in pink and sparkles every time we see them and we are all then expected to stand around and tell them how beautiful they are..... Alex is very bemused by it all.

Hehe- Alex is amazing :D.

We were in Asda today and O completely bemused one of the girls working there who asked O what she'd gotten for Christmas. O told her a kitchen, and she said "Ooh, that'll keep Mummy busy", O replied "No, it's just a toy". The woman said that yes, but I would play with her, and that she (O) could make some lovely food; O- "you can't make food, only pretend". The woman said she'd have to make some pretend food for her dollys. O told her that Dollys aren't real so don't need to eat. For a child with a brilliant imagination she's so bleeding literal! The woman gave up.

If its any concelation Noir, munchkin was exactly like that for years (still can be). She could only play 'pretend' games if she had first told you she was pretending!

Tom's similar Noir - if I get too involved he has to remind me "it's just 'tend mummy".

On Boxing Day Tom told my sister "i miss you when you're at home". She was quite chuffed until he added "and Claire the health visitor"!
