Buy mulled wine sachets from supermarket and add to apple juice, warm it in saucepan. Yum!!

I use 1 sachet to 1 litre apple juice (and usually add some water, cup or two).

The other easy way - buy mulled wine flavour instant tea drink from Whittards. Add hot water - hey presto!

Having said that, I did mull red grape juice last year and it was good - but took on the consistency of tar after a few hours....

The trick with mulling grape juice is less time,really only simmer and add less sugar. Take of heat after about 20mins. Re heat in microwave (or with clean hot poker if you're being traditional) when needed.

i would mix 50/50 grape juice and cranberry juice, the cranberry adds the tartness that is missing in grape juice (compared to wine), then add required amount of sachets and any sugar to taste if required. we served this up at our wedding as the on-alcoholic version, and it went down a treat!
