we're home, I'm hurting, everywhere :(

Second babies? Forgotten everything about breast and formula, napping and wrapping and you are are going a bit MAD because you haven't slept in three days? Or it's your first baby and you are here researching the joys of weaning?

I'm back for a moan. Feeling very rubbish - midwife thinks I have an infection so off to 'wound clinic' tomoro. I feel like I've got a grim bug, bkeirrggh. And one of my boobs is starting to really suffer from the tongue tie - engorged and sore.... Meh...non the upside the piles have healed quite a lot. And the wee man is just perfect and doing great. Just wish my body would catch up

Give it time, you've just been through Major surgery. And sympathies with the infection. I had one with both boys too. You will heal, just take it one day at a time.

Big operation indeed. It does take time to heal and I suspect you're not resting like you would if he was your first!

Big hugs.

Oh no! I had an infection in my episiotomy wound, it's no fun - hope you get it sorted soon. Glad to hear the littl'un is doing well though, and hopefully the tongue tie snip will help both of you.

Thanks all. Day 3 of anti b's now and am feeling much better. Wound is starting to ooze which is gross but apparently a good sign. So fingers crossed by the end of the week I might be approaching health...
