<Sob>

Second babies? Forgotten everything about breast and formula, napping and wrapping and you are are going a bit MAD because you haven't slept in three days? Or it's your first baby and you are here researching the joys of weaning?

((((((SF))))) Keeping everything crossed that it turns out to be nothing major and you're all home and well quickly.

{{{SF}}} oh no, so sorry to hear this! I was hoping (I know this sounds bad, but hopefully you know what I mean) from your text earlier that it was YOU that was ill, not the wee man. :( Hugs.

Thanks lovely people. Squidge isn't getting any worse so I'm very much hoping he remains that way overnight. My lovely friend just drove here to bring me a phone charger which I'm so grateful for - I'd have felt so isolated if it'd died in the middle of the night.

(((sp))) hope your ds feels better soon.

Oh no :( I hope squidge has a good night and you're both home soon. I'm sure your big baby will be fine with daddy but it's still hard. (((SF & family)))

((((((((SF)))))))) I hope it's nothing serious and the night is quiet for you both. Monkey boy will be fine and will be looking forward to mummy cuddles when you get home!

He's been ok overnight - still coughing but none of the very scary coughing fits he had yesterday and his oxygen is fine. I'm hoping he'll be discharged later unless the blood tests come back position for whooping cough.

Loving my Moby even more BTW - I was able to take him with me to the canteen just now for a sit-down breakfast rather than having to leave him with the nurse in order to rush there and back :-D.

Thank you for thinking of us. We ended up in hospital last night too. I <3 the NHS, everyone bends over backwards to look after my little ones when they need anything. Hope you guys are home and heading for full health. xx

Sp - nooo. Hope they were able to help - will head over to your thread for update. I love nhs too, they've been so lovely to us, we're fantastically lucky in this country.

Disco - not a huge amount of sleep, no! But hopefully I'll have chance to catch up soon.

Thanks again everyone for your hugs and support. Will update again once dr's been round.

We're home! Whooping cough almost certainly ruled out and as long as he doesn't have a temperature and keeps feeding we shouldn't worry too much about the cough. I'm going to try to catch up on sleep before picking up my pfb from nursery and giving him a great big cuddle!
