Thanks all,

Just had an impromptu run, to the Drs when I suddenly realised my appt was at 15.50, whilst I was at home looking at my watch at 15.50. Arrived at 15.52 so hopefully all is good.

My Fitbit definitely gets something from cycling. Home to work is about 4000 steps worth of walking, or 1500 ish cycling. I can't be bothered to think about whether or not either of those is an accurate reflection of the exertion required - my problem is at the input stage not the output...!

Mine's a wristband - I assume it would be different for a pocket one.

Hope we all had good weekends? I got myself back on track this week and after a few weeks of being a bit all over the place, I'm eating healthily. Back down to 10st 10lbs which is my lowest weight so far. 4lbs to healthy bmi and 10lbs to goal weight - aiming to be at the healthy bmi by holiday in three weeks' time...

Have a happy and healthy Monday!

Ive lost a pound. I suppose that's better than last week when I put on 1lb 8oz but it doesn't feel great. Not sure if this 5:2 is helping much. I've lost 5lb in about a month. It's really beginning to annoy me now that I can't exercise more, although I have started doing planks and sit ups to try and shift mum tum again. Not doing anything as organised as the 39 day challenge but just trying to squeeze one plank and one set of sit ups in daily ATM with the aim to improve time and number and add in crunches and leg raises as time goes by.

I dare not step on the scales!

Foot was feeling really good over the weekend but a bit sore again yesterday and today. I definitely going to tap tonight though. Still doing the stretches and freezing for it so fingers crossed!

KC - thanks for the reminder - must download the sit up app on my phone!!!

HRF vibes coming your way...

I haven't been anywhere with a scale since Tumbleweed arrived, but I'm wearing my watch one hole tighter, and I was surprised by how skinny my arms were in a photo today, so things seem to be working ok. We've had a nasty windy cold spell since she was born, but today it was warm and calm, so we got out for a walk. I have to fit in another 700 steps today to crack 5000, so I think that will be my goal for now. Once Tumbleweed is less of a nursing machine I can think about upping it.

Also, as per forum recommendation I got a Beco Gemini and predict it will help me be a lot more mobile. I've been spending a lot of time sitting around under a sleeping Tumbleweed, so having a quick convenient way to wear her that also puts her to sleep is perfect.

Feeling good about everything :D

Yay StJ!

My eating is terrible and my gymming has slackened off but in my defence I'm so tired and run down that something needs to give.

On the bright side I've got the gala ball for the challenge on Friday and I've got a lovely new posh frock, shoes, and I get to go to a salon for two hours for hair and makeup!

Squeeeee, well done CF. That's fantastic.

I'm not having a fast day today. I have two poxy children and have had a very disturbed night so think I need the calories to keep me going.

Monday is my weigh-in day so I'll let you know how that goes later. Don't know how good our scales are though really. A friend is going to do me a wellness review soon though (I have no idea) so we'll see if my scale she match hers.

Wow CT that is amazing! You have done so well!

My friend's wedding was yesterday & my bridesmaids dress was fine. More than fine actually, it looked lovely. It is laced at the back so we pulled them all in nice & tight to give the illusion of smaller waists.

Trouble is I haven't actually lost any weight still since the beginning of the year! I equally haven't put any on so that is something. Looking at the photos from the wedding I still think my main aim is to tone my tummy/bum I was actually pretty happy with how I look chest up! So going to have to do some exercise really aren't I! I've heard hula hooping is good for tummy toning but not sure I can manage a hula hoop!!
