Yeah, I guess. I wasn't really sure what to expect, having never taken specific measurements before I didn't really know what would be likely to happen! Doesn't feel like much, but DP was impressed when I told him just now. Although the weight loss is pants, but I assume that's because some of it has turned to muscle. :?

Yeah I'm not losing weight very quickly but I definitely feel slightly more toned. I think 2inches off your waist is amazing for 1 month's work! What's your plan now?

Hmmm, shredding was too much. I definitely want an at-home thing for the days I'm not doing anything else, but I don't want to feel I *have* to shred even when I've already done other stuff. I'll keep up my routine of exercise (gym Tues/Fri/sometimes Thurs; Zumba Weds; swimming Sun) and try to do a DVD or WiiFit or something on the other days. I'll see what DP comes up with for my birthday - I mentioned some Personal Trainer sessions at the gym which I couldn't otherwise afford/justify, but I'm not sure if he already had other plans for a present.

I suppose the next thing I need to do is tackle eating. I've cut out some of the snacks once the girls are asleep. I need to try and serve myself smaller portions.

That sounds like loads of exercise to me - wish I could fit in more than my 3 short runs a week but hopefully that'll be possible once O starts preschool in April.

I've been working on portion sizes - I try to give myself less carbs and a massive pile of veggies to compensate. Not noticing much of a weight difference so far but I've been sneaking chocolate/cake again since O's sleep deteriorated. :(

That's loads of inches - you should be incredibly proud of yourself! And you're right, I'd imagine that much exercise would be turning the fat to muscle so a modest weight loss isn't a problem.
