How long do you leave between eating and running? I want to run tomorrow morning but I can't do it without eating anything first but I also don't want to be hanging around at home for ages as I should get to work.

An hour, usually, depending on what I eat.

It is usually the tea swishing around in my stomach running in the morning that is a bigger problem than the food!

It depends on the food. Banana, I don't leave time. Cereal I need an hour... Toast less....

I would eat.a banana or a.piece.of.toast and then run, nothing else. But that's.cos running on a full.tummy makes me a.little, ahem, ill.

There's no way I could stomach a banana first thing (I'm weird about bananas! ) but I'll try toast then get ready and try to leave 20mins or so. I'm only planning on doing week 3 of c25k so it's not very intense - although I'm sure it'll feel it to me! Thanks!

Usually have a spoonful of peanut butter (bit wierd I know) then run and eat properly when I get back..
if running in evening I will leave an hour or so between eating a small amount and running.
big meal is curtains for me.
