Would you take McD Happy Meal toys to a charity shop?

We're all in this together, remember, so while the world is collapsing around our ears it might be nice to have a place to talk about new-found frugalities and old-fashioned eco-living. And mooncups.

Would you take McD Happy Meal toys to a charity shop?

Yes!

(And I bought one from there too once! Two kids arguing over one crappy telescope was suddenly stopped by a rummage in a bargain bin!)

It would depend on the toy for me - the smurfs or minions, yes I would take them. Those hand grabby things for Halloween? No.

Our school asks for them openly. I'd give decent ones to charity or donate to school.

Lol, yes I do :) I can however blame my mum. She simply adores a sneaky wee happy meal when she's out with her cronies on a saturday afternoon - a great deal when you are on a pension apparently!

She of course brings the toys for the boys.

I love a sneaky McDonald's myself but I rarely admit it! Luckily the puppy (who has been offered one maccy d and one Burger King [motorway necessity]) hates them. Little croc, well, she was there for the bk and she loved it, funnily enough.
