Got a bag of about 12 cotton reels mostly quite full for a £1 today at a table top sale. Lots of grey and black so will be very useful for school uniform alternations. I was just running out of grey too. Yay!!!

excellent.
Went to the car boot today and got loads of christmas presents for various kids. Wooden peg boards, jigsaws, dvd for stocking filler, eric carle book set and smellies for SIL. Can't remember exactly how much I spent, but it was under a tenner.

Oh I got a free vtech walker this week - so glad I didn't fight over the £1.99 one in the charity shop that time!

Just a few things this week - no point looking at clothes for A as she's not fitting 18-24m properly yet & has vast amounts (although never what I want!). I did get the game Mouse Trapfor £3 though& we enjoyed playing it yesterday!

A found a tweed jointed rabbit (very Joules) & demanded it - not much of a bargain at £3 but it looked brand new.

Also finally found a nice jewellery box in T K Maxx.

Finally actually counted the cotton reels I got and it was 23 and not my estimate of 12. So 23 reels for £1. Wow!

Got Walking with Dinosaurs DVD for the present drawer for £1 and some lovely books at the same table top sale too.

I don't actually need any clothes for Zoe, but noted a charity shop in town doing a sale on babies' and children's clothes: five items for £1 or fill a bag for £5.

Thursday is charity shop day :D

I'm on toy alert for birthday & Christmas now. Got A a wooden ELC farm for £4 (inc animals) for Christmas & a cuddly strawberry £2.50 for birthday.

B has been on about Mr Bloom's veggies so got him a cuddly onion for Christmas. I also got a cuddly broccoli which might go to A at Christmas or I might give both to B. they were £2.50 each. All brand new with tags on.

I'm not bothering to look at clothes for either of them at the moment unless its a cant pass up even if it is age 4 (Boden cow print jeans a while back for £4!)

I'm out of the charity shop loop these days *sniff* but I have got Mil on the case. I tolf her I was always looking for trousers for S (I was kind of hinting as she - -and everyone else - always buys them t shirts), anyway she loves a charity shop bargain.. so far 4 pairs of 4-5 trousers and a t shirt thrown in for £2! also she told me about a brand new breadmaker on sale for £4. I've told her to get it as ours is on its last legs, it'd be good to have a back up.
