meal planning sharing

Post them up and every so often I'll snaffle them and put them on the blog, if that's okay? It'll save you the trouble of emailing them to me. (It will mean you lose out on our charming personal interaction but I sense you can live with that.)

So far I'm thinking:
Pesto pasta
Roast lamb (tomorrow as DH has already got it out to defrost)
Roast duck (Wednesday when his mum comes down)
Lasagne
Chicken in white wine (from a jar :O)
Sat at his dad's
Sun who knows

I don't normally plan days as such either buy this week seems to have panned out like that.

Well I've just screwed up the chicken tikka everyone is raving about. Working in a rush on auto pilot I chopped the chicken in to little pieces. So I shall be doing it in a frying pan. Damn it. Could still be good but not holding out much for my kids eating it anyway. One doesn't eat and one has eaten two enormous meals already today.

Singapore noodles
Mozzarella pasta bake (veg)
Lamb rogan josh (kids had leftover pasta)
Fish, new potatoes and veg
Lemon chicken with rice
Beef chow mien
Sausage pasta bake
Tomorrow might be tempeh noodles, or we might eat out. I just discovered T is off school.
Over the weekend there'll be pork vindaloo and either roast chicken or pulled pork.

Last week we tried Swedish meatballs. Dh: "better than Ikea's"

They're from the My Daddy Cooks book. Easy. Easy. Easy. They're one of our staples now. The kids LOVE them. And they're great if you're in a hurry. https://m.facebook.com/mydaddycooks/posts/130366593710656

Might have to get that book.
The tikka went down very well with MrC And me. Kids less so. I persuaded the puppy to have one piece in exchange for a date. He did and said he didn't like it. Little Croc didn't eat anything at all a one clclearly wasn't hungry at all.

We had Lebanese.wraps, roasted squash, lettuce, avocado and a raita type.dip. Yum. And so easy, thanks.

I love this blog, we've had 3 or 4 recipes from it that we've loved. Will have to try the meatballs (I love the IKEA meatball dinner!) :)
