meal planning sharing

Post them up and every so often I'll snaffle them and put them on the blog, if that's okay? It'll save you the trouble of emailing them to me. (It will mean you lose out on our charming personal interaction but I sense you can live with that.)

Having said that, Mediterranean Baked Cod 'did one' this evening. Was too tired to bother, so we got fish and chips :-) Glorious!

ETA If you also read the 'Getting Healthy' thread, just forget you read this

Glad I'm not the only one!

This week so far we've had:
Gnocchi with pesto (tried recipe from Kanga and it worked great, although I don't think DH is a fan of gnocchi which is a shame as I've just pinned about 10 recipes to make with it!)
Parsnip apple soup and cheese sandwiches
Went out
MP's slow cooker pork (which was really good) with coleslaw and jacket potatoes.

Tonight we're having salmon fishcakes but I haven't quite figured out a recipe yet.

Just made a shopping list for next week and have so far semi-planned:
Coconut crunch chicken with veg fried rice
Sweet potato masala dosa
Guinness beef stew (I can feed this to DD right, the alcohol will cook off?)
Crock pot honey garlic chicken
Either slow cooker bolognaise or one pot lasagne soup with carrot and spinach sneaked in
DD - Nov '12

I was amazed how easy the gnocchi was. Shame your dh wasn't keen. I used to do this recipe which is lovely & a bit different to gnocchi just boiled in water.

This week we've had/having:
Mon - baked potatoes
Tues - sausage pasta bake
Weds - spaghetti with prawns & sundried tomato pesto
Thurs - veg shepherds pie
Fri - eggs & chips
Sat - Jamie Oliver crispy chicken with new potatoes & tomatoes
Mummy to 2 gorgeous munchkins who are trying to eat us out of house & home! Dd A born July 08 and ds J born June 12. V3 due October 2014.

Ok so I have been absent from this thread for a while but I made this today with orzo and it was amazing. Both girls loved it! Had to share...

Sounds good MJ, even to a veggie! I need some approved slow cooker recipes too

I made cheese and potato pie yesterday. It was supposed to be Sunday but only got as far as oh making the pastry. Then somehow it took forever (oh I know why, small people!) to get it in the oven yesterday so it wasn't actually ready in time for kids' tea and had to give them emergency beans on toast. But hooray, they actually like it tonight, E has hoovered it up.

Other meals are:
Massaman curry with sticky rice
Spag/ slag Bol
Shepherds pie and broccoli/ peas
Pesto pasta and veg/ prawns
Crispy fish/ portobello mushrooms for me, with couscous and salad or maybe green beans
Veggie chilli and rice

Does anyone deliver? We're moving (again) so I really don't have the enthusiasm or (still post-flu) energy to cook :-(
