Enrolement Christmas Craftswap 2015 & Q&A's

Because BLW isn't just for lentil-weavers. Some of us like to piddle about with bits of felt and sticky-backed plastic as well.

Can someone remind me when opening day is please so I can work out when I need to post it. Can't find the date anywhere although I know it's here somewhere.

10th December, according to the first post on this thread.

I've done my prep, and now I'm making something! Haven't made anything for ages (apart from a few practise bits before I started this). Hurrah!

I'm planning to shop tomorrow. Excited! Just hoping B will nap in her cot so I can get going with making; I'm so crap at concentrating in the evenings and it really needs to be neat.

Gah. I was hoping to finish a milo at the weekend and then get started on this. I realised last night though that I've made a big, noticeable mistake and now I need to unpick about 800 stitches.

I'm learning a new skill to make this...not going brilliantly so far; let's hope I get better quickly :-D.

I've just realised that what I'm making resembles a certain symbol that I'm not sure whether my swappee will entirely appreciate.

But I'm half way done, and I haven't got time to redo. So: sorry! It wasn't intentional!

I feel quite impressed with myself - I've already finished part one of my swap! And it's not too shabby! (In my [not so] humble opinion...)
