Roll up, roll up for the Christmas Swap 2015!!!

For those who would like to participate this year....

The Rules
1. I'll update this post to add people once they have PM'd me their addresses for the swap and filled in their reply to the questions below - deadline is 31st October please! Only those on the list can participate and in order to give everyone enough time (though there is NEVER enough time) please ensure you have confirmed by the end of October.
2. The item should be a decoration or something festive.
3. Supplies should cost no more than £5.00 but existing stash can be put to good use.
4. The gift opening will be on 10th December, so please keep this in mind when posting.
5. Absolutely no one is allowed to think that their gifts aren't good enough. Everthing is lovely and will be gratefull appreciated by its recipient!

I'm in!

No colour scheme, anything goes.

I like spicy and orangey smells.

Don't mind if decorations are traditional or modern.

No allergies.

Isaac is 3, Beatrice will be 8mo at Christmas.

Preferably secular decorations but I won't take offence at the occasional angel!

Do you have a colour scheme for your decorations, or does anything go? If so, what colours?
Red, green, gold on main tree. Sparkly, pink, lilac, silver and 'random' on C's little tree, but anything goes, really - I can find a place for most things!

Favourite Christmas smell?
Chocolate :-D (I actively dislike typical Christmas smells (cinammon, nutmeg, etc)

Do you prefer traditional or modern decorations?
No preference...

Any allergies?
Nope.

Names/ages of LOs (in case anyone's making any personalised decorations)?
C, aged 3 (will PM c_l with C's name)

Would you prefer religious or secular decorations?
Secular

If it's for me, then silver and white. If it's for the girls then anything! They have no taste!!!!!

Cinnamon, Pine, Orange. Did someone say chocolate?? Goes without saying really!

If love to do this, although I'm a bit rubbish at arts and crafts I'm afraid.

Colour - anything goes
Smells - spiced orange, mulled winey type smells
Traditional/modern - don't mind
Religious/ secular - don't mind
Allergies - no
Kids - Gracie (SM) is 3 and Daisy (CM) will be 18 months at Christmas

Mostly traditional red/green/metallic, but we'd find a home for anything.

Love it all. Wood fires especially.

I've been out and bought some hardware - this has given me the kick I needed to re start an old hobby, but I couldn't find all my old kit. Getting practising this evening!

Tree decorations are silver and red mostly but there are others with white/green/black plus we have loads of straw decorations from Finland.

Tested DD2 with fresh cow's milk yesterday and so far so good so... No! But I may be back to edit this if we hear any wheezing in the next couple of days.

DD1 is 4 and DD2 will be 2 at the start of Feb.

Secular though I don't mind stars (festival of light and all)!

It's been a few years since I've joined in one of these. Really looking forward to it :)

Just thought I'd bump this, in case there are any latecomers who would like to join up before catie_lou assigns people to people. Hallowe'en is gone, over, finished, which means that, a few fireworks aside, it's nearly Christmaaaaaaasssss!!!
