Easy summer dress pattern

Because BLW isn't just for lentil-weavers. Some of us like to piddle about with bits of felt and sticky-backed plastic as well.

Easy summer dress pattern

Postby Alstarofwonder » 01 Mar 2014, 16:37

I've been inspired by the sewing bee, but my sewing skills are functional at best. I can make things, costumes which.don't really need to bare up to close inspections, and I've never followed a pattern. I would really love to make some dresses for my girls for the summer, but don't know where to start. Can anyone recommend as dress pattern that isn't too complicated please? Tia

Are you on pinterest? There are lots of ideas there - some do have patterns, some based on existing clothing and have tutorials. I have some on my boards so if you want to link or look at mine, then please do! My link is.... http://www.pinterest.com/sally1681/
