I just discovered a new shop near me (Krafty Monkey), and they sell Decopatch. Just thought I'd share as it looks really cool. I'm sure some of you long time crafters know of it. Anyway, I bought a couple of large letters and a few sheets of paper to make fancy initials for my two. I'll let you know how it goes as it may turn out to be pants but it seems something nice and crafty to do with Tinky. I suppose it could make a nice crafty kids gift - plain letter, a couple of sheets and a pot of glue?

Eta: thought I'd best add a link so you know what I'm talking about...

The word deco patch makes me want to claw my eyes's decoupage, rebranded and overpriced!!!
It is fun though.
Did you know the ceiling of the enlightenment gallery of the British museum is made of papier mâché and decoupage? Was a big Victorian trend.

Yes, that's the other thing I was going to mention - it is rather pricey! But not bad if you're doing a one off.
Decoupage - aha! I have heard of that and it seemed vaguely familiar when looking at the big 'Decopatch' elephant in the shop window. It actually reminded me go the Bath lion and pig art project ( and the recent Bristol Grommit project).
