Where to buy supplies for a tutu?

Because BLW isn't just for lentil-weavers. Some of us like to piddle about with bits of felt and sticky-backed plastic as well.

I want to make Pippa a tutu. Where would I be best to buy tulle and elastic? Any tips?

Tips I was given by someone else - use non roll elastic for the waistband.

I bought my tulle from eBay but others like fabric warehouse I think it was. There are different types of tulle & net. Some are hard stiff & scratchy other fine & soft.

I just bought some tulle from Fabricland. They also do dress net but you'd have to buy a whole board of it. Lots of colour choice. Terrible website.

I used a hairband. An elastic one. It was just the right circumference.
I used 2.5 yards I think. I know I had to go bak to the shop...
