The big reveal!

Because BLW isn't just for lentil-weavers. Some of us like to piddle about with bits of felt and sticky-backed plastic as well.

I finally got up to the mail center today.

I have a great retro cross stitch that says 'I make people, whats your superpower' I love it. I want to hang it in the hall (for everyone to see) but o.h isnt keen on it (hes a dumbass, & hates handcrafted stuff - prefering to have the same mass produced ikea 'art' as everybody else)

its been posted from cb6 cambridgeshire will have to do a it of sleuthing on that one.

Mine came today: a lovely crochet hat for the tadpole, plus matching boot covers for baby and I in a beautiful autumnal orange colour. I'm not going to be able to wait for the tadpole's arrival to wear mine; they're perfect for fall and it's been ages since I got any new accessories. I'm excited about the hat, so cosy for a December baby and nice and petite, too; all P's wooly hats were way too big when he was a newborn.

Judging by the late arrival and MD return address, I assume its from ches. Thank-you, I love it!

Phew! You have no idea how long it took me to choose a color. :) The small ones should fit P if his legs aren't too squidgy. I didn't try them on T, but they fit on my wrists.

Haha, I got them as far as his ankles before he got too squirmy, but if he sees the big ones on me maybe he'll be more cooperative. :)

Mine arrived today, it is a beautiful peacock cushion cover. I think (and Im really sorry for my ignorance here swapper!) it is tapestry (?) and the backing is made from a man's shirt. I love it, it will look fab in my bedroom. Thank you so much swapper, you are very talented! I will add a photo to the Flickr group later tonight. :D

I really have no idea who on the list is from France but my guess is Gizmo?

Edited to add.... having read back through the thread, Im thinking it isnt Gizmo now... Hrmm back to the drawing board.. :?

Back from hols and got my gift :D

It's a lovely book to keep recipes in . It's hard backed with a lovely collage of blues and purples on the front and its held closed by a metallic button then you can flip it over and it can stand all by itself :D

Sorry kanga wasn't me......

I haven't a clue who made it I will come back and guess after a bit of a snoop :D

Oh and thank you swapper :D :D

Back from hols now, yes it was me Busmother, I'm glad they are liked. Please swapper put me out of my misery not being able to thank you properly, We really adore it but I'm truly hopeless at guessing! I did say thank you as I drove past the Crewe turning on the M6 today.

Yup, it was me, posted on holiday! Well guessed. Glad you like it, the shirt idea was a late addition but I was quite pleased with how it came out. My fingertip is still numb from the tapestry needle though - I think I need to invest in a good thimble...

Thank you so much, it is lovely and you are very talented and patient! I had a couple of new cushions in my cupboard so one is now inside the cushion cover which is sitting on my bed. It goes really well in our bedroom, the peacock is just brill. Hope the finger gets better soon!
