I love washi tape but..

Because BLW isn't just for lentil-weavers. Some of us like to piddle about with bits of felt and sticky-backed plastic as well.

.. before I buy some (erm, lots?) what do you use it for? I just love it as an item but have no idea what to do with it!

I use it in my packaging of my toys for my business. I've seen all kinds of cool things to do with it online, one idea I liked was you take toothpicks and wrap a bit around the top and stick it to itself, then cut a triangle out of it to make a little flag! I don't know if that description makes sense though!

Kat did the flag thing with a needle in her crochet camp kit :D

ive seen clothes pegs on pinterest, i was thinking of doing one side of the peg festive tape one birthday/celebration tape then using them attached to string as a card holder - with 6 birthdays christmas mothers & fathers day i think the amount it would get used justifes the time/cost

I saw on Pinterest someone had refurbed a coffee table using washi tape. It looked really nice!

I made an old fashioned scrap book for my sister's hen do, with pictures and letters from her friends all stuck in with washi tape, and some added washi tape designs on some of the blank pages (like a sketch of some bunting with washi tape triangles for the flags) - pinterest came in handy for ideas.
Now proud Mummyto3 little crazies!

I've patched over the hole in the casing for my laptop with it, but that probably wasn't the kind of answer you were looking for! My main use is for marking where I am up to in knitting/crochet patterns. It stands out and is repositionable.

The Chooby & Mr JB have started a baby book scrap book for Bam and I can see a lot getting used there.

I made Babybel a shaker with an old vitamin tub and decorated round it with washi tape. Or a strip on the edge of a shelf in midges bedroom, tarting up a plant pot, and ive also used it on brown paper instead of ribbon and that looks really cool.

I did a kind of paper cut. But it nearly drove me to drink!
Nearly finished. I'll post pics when it's done.
