Ribbon

Because BLW isn't just for lentil-weavers. Some of us like to piddle about with bits of felt and sticky-backed plastic as well.

Someone donated to the PTA a HUGE bag load of ribbons of various sizes / colours / styles etc. So now I have no idea what to do with them.... Any suggestions?

All I can think is possibly weaving baskets!

Ooo is it thin ribbon? I recently bought a mag which had a free flower loom. You can make awesome brooches/bag accessories with ribbon and the loom.

I saw that mag - decided I didn't want the free gift so didn't buy it!

I may just suggest we use them at the Christmas fair as garlands / paper chains....

You could make taggies and sell them at the fairs, my mum does and they sell like hotcakes!

You can make rosettes to award as prizes like at horse shows and fairs.

Is the ribbon wired?

Rosettes, flowers, hair clips

Shows you how to use a fork to tie little ribbon bows which would be perfect for hairclips:-

Thank you people. I shall think of this once we are done with the Summer Fair... too many stressed people already without adding another idea into the mix!
