low cost ideas for charity craft stall

Because BLW isn't just for lentil-weavers. Some of us like to piddle about with bits of felt and sticky-backed plastic as well.

low cost ideas for charity craft stall

In july a few members of our church are holding open garden days, to raise money for an orphanage project and childrens lunch scheme in malawi & street childrens center in india.

Along with looking at the pretty flowers they are wanting hand crafted items to sell, i'd like to help out but I dont have loads of spare cash to spend on materials.

Ive some fabric scraps that will become little mouse pin cushions and gallons of toy stuffing to fill them with.

I thought about freezer paper stenciled bags, t shirts etc but the the cost starts going up :(

I could also do felt hair clips
Mum to B (b.sept 2006) & E (b.sept 2009) and R & A (b.july 2011).

key ring
handbag charms
mobile phone charms
braided friendship bracelets
scrunchie hairbands

all the above can be made with a small amount of materials and take a small amount of time to make, can get key rings, brooch backs cheaply from ebay in packs
