Summer swap chat...

Because BLW isn't just for lentil-weavers. Some of us like to piddle about with bits of felt and sticky-backed plastic as well.

DH made me stand on the balcony with my eyes and ears shut and has hidden it until the 26th so I'm not tempted.

Finally finished. Drama over the finishing off, then realised I didn't have a big enough box, so managed to fashion something out of smaller ones, only to realise that my name and address is somewhere on the box that is now all packaged up... so apologies to my swappee if I have ruined the guessing game a bit! Really hope they like it :)

Finished last night! Just need to pack it up and post it. Hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow, mum told me that the parcels go at lunch tome here!

Disappointingly, I realised last night that I've forgotten to bring my gift with me so I won't be able to open it until I get home on Tuesday.

Done and packaged. Got to the post office to find it closed. Remembered it is moving into one of the other shops, it was meant to be opening the yesterday but not opening till one today. Aaaaargh! I'd be quicker driving it to my swapees house myself! I hope it arrives on time.

Mines here too! In time for me to pack it so thank you swapper! This has made me smile today, no mean feat as I somehow have to pack everything for a family of 5 to go away incl. hill walking single handedly with 2 older kids who are ignoring every word I say and a baby who is very tired and clingy, teething and refusing to nap. I want to cry. DH worked last night and is working tonight, so will be asleep until at least 3pm. I still have to finish unpacking the car from camping trip last weekend (which DH was apparently doing but 'ran out of steam', thanks for nothing Dear.

Mine arrived and I thought "why the heck do I have a parcel from California?" and ripped it open. Will wait for the big reveal, but have thanked my swapper already. ;) I missed the post office last week because of camping, but will get there tomorrow. I am also wobbly and hope my swapper likes it/things fit.

Posted! I did enquire how much next day delivery would cost but it was going to be £11-something so I've taken a chance on standard first class. Fingers crossed!
