Site downtime

Postby Jem » 24 Nov 2011, 18:05

Firstly, great apologies for having disappeared off the face of the planet mid-site changes etc. I am suffering from the woes of morning sickness and first trimester exhaustion.

Secondly, even more apologies for not making this post weeks ago and instead leaving it until the last minute (because I forgot)

The website will be down from 10pm through til 6am on Saturday 26th November. The great server gods are moving my server from London to Hemel Hempstead. Long story short, it's for our own good in the long run. Or something like that anyway.

Sooo... you will have to resort to posting on the facebook page or something. I'm sorry. :scream

Congratulations! Glad the "Jem is horrifically sick" is actually good news. :? Hope the tiredness and sickness are shortlived.

It's saturday LMP.
I'm afraid it doesn't fit in very well with my plans of never being off the forum though :P.
Big congratulations too, I really hope the sickness goes soon though, it's the pits.

Congrats Jem! Glad you're not ill, Aitch had us all worried there ;)

And also argh. Maybe we should all write great big to-do lists and have a competition to see who can do the most off theirs while the site is down.

As good a plan as that sounds, it is a Saturday night and thus perfectly acceptable to fill the forum void with wine...

WooHoo Jem - but sorry it is making you feel all nauseous!

Thanks for the warning - i won't need to trail round everyone else's facebook pages asking what is wrong!
Mummy to 3 scrumptious BLWers, who sometimes rebel + ask for spoonfeeding (2007, 2010, 2013). Antilop chair, slings, cloth nappies, no steam mop but awaiting permission for special handshake which probably involves porridge.

Oh my goodness (to both pieces of news)! I didn't know you were preggo! Congratulations oh lovely techie genius. :D (We fully expect your offspring to be manning the forum for our offspring when we're all old and grey btw...)

Oh, and :scream to downtime, but thanks for working your magic. Hope the MS/exhaustion passes soon and you have a lovely glowy 2nd trimester. (((Jem)))

Congratulations Jem! :bsmile

Luckily I have a child-free night lined up this Saturday and a nice date night planned with DH so thanks for coordinating server downtime to fit in with my rare night out of the house :-)
