Help me make a BLW.com Christmas list...

Postby Aitch » 13 Nov 2011, 13:54

not necessarily BLW-related but i am CONSUMED with guilt at not having reviewed Archiesdad's book yet so that's going on the list and we can put it up on the site proper.

what else? i MUST get it done in next few days because after that am going deep into what we call Crisismas at work and will not lift my head until the 24th Dec.

any great BLW things/books/craft gubbins. happy to reco etsy places as well, and disco's ludicrous calendar. not sure if Kat's crocheting fingers can stand any more glowing reviews... and there was that steam mop, wasn't there? (or have you all fallen out of love with that by now?) :D

Definitely steam mops.
How about 'What Mothers do'? She has a new book too. 'How Mothers love'. It's on my list.
And we all NEED these: http://www.etsy.com/listing/85902414/re ... -kaetibear

Erm, that's all I've got.

I have a shark. I love it. I had to tape the handle back together though. Not through overuse either. It could have been damaged during the move though.

oh blardy hell they are TOO good, aren't they?

i wonder if what we need to do is a page of 'talented forumites' as well as BLW christmas pressies.

and actually no to the mooncup, but that is making me think that the steam mop is not the sort of thing i'd want santa to bring me either...

I love your dolls robyn.

lol @ crafting weirdos

what about Kat's stuff? Or does she want to keep the forum and real life separate now? I guess you'd have to ask her first. I was about to link to her site but stopped myself.

Are we talking stuff for kids or stuff for adults? Things I have bought for TheWriggler based on recommendations on the site are:

Funpod (thanks Grandparents!)
Islabike (thanks again Grandparents!)
Amber teething necklace
MeToo & HandySitt portable highchairs
Hoppediz Balloon Cover

I don't think I've bought anything particularly exciting for me or as a gift based on a recommendation from here, and although I would be delighted if DP went out and spontaneously bought a steam mop I would not. be. happy. if it was wrapped up and put under the tree for me!
