I think the new members section prooved rather a lot of work for the few mods we have, and probably deleting any spam as it crops up is much less.

There was a thread a little while back where about 10 of us volunteered our services to do new member modding, as we'd rather do that that have people posting spam in faith's corner and the like x

I am only seeing 1 or 2 spam items when I'm on here. Please keep flagging the posts you do find so we can delete & ban them. Like Aitch said, things are being looked into.

Cool, that's the only thing that really bothers me is spam in faith's corner. Then again the idea that all you have to do to read everything in there is register bothers me a little, but I'd hate it to be like on cnt where you have to have loads of posts to get into bits of the forum as that seems rather exclusive and bit of a put off. I think I should give up on the paranoia instead, less time consuming at least!

Sometimes I wonder about people and their comments. I mean are they really spammers or just people who don't have that much to say??!

I also couldn't find them when I did a search earlier...but strangely was just reading the toddler thread and found tjacks55 on there... was that one of the people ?

A little strange you can't search for them, but they are there in the board somewhere.
I also don't knw if they are spam or not.
