Brighton Pavilion with kids?

We're on hols on the south coast and thinking of a day in Brighton tomorrow. I know there's the aquarium, but me and DP would be more interested in the Pavilion. Would it be a waste of time and money with a 4yo and 2.5yo? All we've done the rest of the week is tool around on beaches, so we can afford an 'attraction' but probably not two. Pavilion or aquarium?! WWYD?

Aquarium. Wander round it once (probably take less than 45 minutes if your two are anything like mine. Pop out for lunch, play on the beach, walk round the pavilion gardens (for free), and then go back round the aquarium again (which will take 45 - 1hr30, again if your two are anything like mine).

I've never been in the Pavilion though, just know that the monsters would always choose beach and aquarium over pretty much anything else. Ever.
